Jessica Childers

Jessica never had an aspiration to have a career in real estate. Life events had tossed her to and fro, when finally, it landed her on her knees in a posture of desperation for the Lord. In that time, God made it clear (and very loudly!) that real estate would not just be her career, but also a conduit for ministry.

That same year, fresh into her career, she attended a women’s retreat where she not only experienced the tangible presence of the Lord, but also His unconditional love… Agape. It was the beginning of a shift in the trajectory of her life that would be incorporated in how she conducted her business.

At the beginning of her career, she moved to Decatur, without knowing a single person. She interviewed with Parker Properties and was turned away as a new agent. That singular “no” would turn out to be the best and biggest blessing, allowing for another door to open and for her to end up where she is now.

She started her career with Trinity Realty where she stayed on until taking that leap of faith and starting her own brokerage, Agape and Associates. She believes the environment that Trinity Realty exuded, allowed her to develop a dependence on the Lord for His provision, which goes far beyond a financial provision. His provision of relationship has been what has established her business, as an independent realtor, and now as a broker.

It has not been a venture without challenge. However, it has fostered her much growth personally, spiritually, and professionally. Since starting Agape and Associates in July of 2023, she has grown to house 34 agents and is represented in 3 states… with a 4th in the works. She attributes all of her success to the grace and mercy of God for His glory!
